Easy Cash is operated by Buffalo Finances. Easy Cash shows you your true cash position by reading data from your own QuickBooks Online account. This page explains what we collect, why, and how it's handled.
QuickBooks data. When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, Intuit's OAuth process gives Easy Cash read access to your bank/credit card account balances and transaction history. We use this only to compute and display your cash position — deposits, expenses, and balances, separated from your P&L. Easy Cash does not request write access to your books unless you separately engage Buffalo Finances for bookkeeping services.
Account identifiers. We store your QuickBooks company (realm) ID and an OAuth token so you don't have to reconnect every visit, plus your company name so the app can greet you correctly.
We do not collect: your QuickBooks password (Intuit handles login directly — we never see it), or any payment information. Easy Cash is currently free to use.
Easy Cash uses Google Analytics to see which parts of the app get used, so we know what to improve. This only records which screen you're viewing (e.g. "Profit and Loss") and whether you're in live/accountant/demo mode — never your company name, QuickBooks data, or dollar figures, and it's not linked to your identity. This data isn't used for advertising or shared with data brokers.
Data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase infrastructure, protected by Google's cloud security controls, server-side encryption, and strict database access rules. Account information and session data are scoped strictly to authorized users and staff. Your data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train any AI model.
Only you (via your own connection) and Buffalo Finances can see your data. If you're a self-serve user, your data is kept separate from Buffalo Finances' existing accounting clients and is never merged with theirs.
Email cpa@buffalofinances.com to disconnect your QuickBooks account and delete your stored data. You can also revoke Easy Cash's access at any time directly from your Intuit account's Connected Apps settings, which immediately cuts off any further data access.
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of Easy Cash after an update means you accept the revised policy.
